Outreach Support Groups

DV Support Groups

The Crisis Center hopes to begin offering domestic violence outreach support groups throughout our 3-county service area. These groups will focus on topics related to domestic violence and will allow survivors to share their experiences with others who have had similar experiences. If you would like to be notified when these groups begin, please e-mail the Crisis Center at crisiscenter87@gmail.com.

SA Support Groups

The Crisis Center offers outreach support groups for survivors of sexual assault at a location in Rensselaer.  Groups focus on many different topics and are open to survivors no matter when the assault occurred. Because of the sensitive nature of these support groups, interested individuals can contact the Crisis Center at (219) 866-8281 for more information.

To protect the safety and privacy of support group members, prescreening is required for anyone wishing to participate. For more information about support group topics, times, or locations, please call
800-933-0374 or 219-866-8281.

Our Mission

The mission of the North Central Indiana Rural Crisis Center is to help end domestic violence in Jasper, Newton, and Pulaski counties by providing temporary shelter and services to victims and children of domestic violence and/or sexual assault through education, advocacy, and community intervention.  We strive to build a community of hope by empowering victims to “break the silence” of violence.  Our motto is, “Turning victims into survivors, helplessness into hope.”
